The Higher Bridges Gallery, The Clinton Centre, Belmore Street, Enniskillen
This work was created in response to the human/animal body, drawing inspiration from the organic. I wished humourize this miniature and seemingly insignificant component of organic beings namely the Avioli found in the lungs, through the medium of inflatable art by enlarging to ridiculous proportions. The work was periodically inflated by a loud air blower which allowed the work for a moment to transcend its nonsensical appearance and take on a more menacing aesthetic, As the work inflated and deflated. Almost breathing in slow powerful bursts.
